Dystopia presents the fetishisation of manufactured pop, encapsulating an imagined technological universe. This collection is a darkly comedic satire that distorts the euphoria captured from pop culture. Technology has drastically changed a person’s social and emotional needs, it is as destructive as it is beneficial in facilitation of communications. In the digital age, we cultivate and curate our image to an ultra-fine degree, like no other generation before. In some ways, this self-image is realer than real.

This spring summer ready-to-wear collection plays with the concept of merging drape and structured silhouettes through subtle tailoring details and drape knits. The colour palette consists of grey and beige tones, which reflects on a totalitarian and polluted future, contrasting with bright streaks of neon pink and parts of electric blue that highlights the vivid lights of a fast-paced cosmopolitan city. The garments focuses on functionality, practicality, and versatility through its flexible drape design- where the suspender clip provides limitless possibilities for designs, giving the wearer full creative freedom to decide the final outlook of the pieces.
